Yes, we are a fully licensed general contractor (“B-1026006” and “C-17”) specializing in window and door installations. If necessary, we can provide a certificate of liability insurance with more detailed information. This is something any general contractor should be willing and able to supply. In addition, we offer service and maintenance for all our installs as well as for previously installed systems from other companies.

A majority of our work is in the Southern California area in Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego counties. On some occasions, our projects take us anywhere from Hawaii all the way to Missouri. Don’t hesitate to contact us should you have a project outside our general service area.

We get this question very often. For installation of doors and windows, we can in some cases start your project the following week. Once there is a signed contract and a deposit has been made, our team will then schedule the next available time. For service and repair, in some cases we can schedule a time for our technician to come out same week.

Usually, it can take anywhere from a few days to a week or more depending on the complexity of the job. In some cases, on the more complex jobs, it can be a few weeks or months. This is based on everything running smoothly.

Yes, Window Crafters does provide sill pans but at an additional cost. All of our pans are made in house from stainless steel and copper. If you would like to include sill pans please make sure to mention it so we can include it in your quote. We are confident that if you go forward with our installation and sill pan service, it will not only save you time but also peace of mind knowing everything is installed correctly.

We do not sell any windows or doors directly but we install many of the top brands in the industry. For example, La Cantina Doors, Euroline Steel Windows & Doors, Western, Fleetwood, Jeld-Wen, Awake Window & Door Co., Jada Windows, Brombal Steel Windows & Doors to name a few. We have relationships with top industry leaders and can assist you with the right product for your project.

Although big box retailers may provide a “one stop” shop, they aren’t always the best solution. Home Depot and Lowe’s have set prices and don’t walk the job for any challenges beforehand which may result in unhappy customers later. Stick with a reputable installer that specializes and can directly manage the job. In some cases, you may end up paying more later than going with a reputable installation company from the beginning.

It may vary on the size and complexity of the project but normally we send out one crew which includes 2-3 guys. The larger more complex jobs, we send 4-6+ guys.
