Window Crafters is looking for Window and Door installers that are willing to get in and hit the ground running. Seeking installers with various levels of experience. Our company is rapidly growing and we’re looking for individuals that can add value to our elite team of installers. Must be a fast learner. Work well in a team environment. Must be presentable. Must have reliable transportation. Must be a responsible individual that we can count on to show up every day and take care of tasks assigned.

Qualifications

Do you Have?

High School diploma or equivalent
Window installation and remodeling experience a plus
A proven track record of superior workmanship
Ability to lift
Working knowledge of hand and power tools
Valid driver’s license
Able to perform the essential functions of the job
Able to communicate with peers and contractors
Able to organize tasks and jobs requirements
A strong sense of accountability and an equally strong sense of teamwork
Problem solving and decision-making skills
Self-motivation, time- and work-process management skills, and the ability to work independently

Service Technician (In-Field)

About the position:

Our Service Team focuses on repairing windows and doors that can include: adjustments on product, replacing parts, glazing, etc.
Recommended for candidates to have their own tools.
On a Daily Basis: the service technician will be given jobs to complete throughout the day. A general scope of work will be given with each job along with material and parts that will be needed.
In addition to performing and closing out the jobs: the service tech will need to use provided phone based software to take notes, pictures, videos and everything necessary to complete the job and communicate with admin if there are questions or issues.
Our team is factory trained and certified and will be training technicians on the “ins and outs” of all the products we service.
Occasion travel may be required throughout Southern California with potential for overnight stay.

Basic Educational and Personal Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years working experience in the construction industry preferred (window and door experience a plus)
Clean driving record
Knowledge and use of hand tools required

  Chris Day (service manager) has been to my home several times and he has always shown up promptly and always is very pleasant and actually has a smile on his face. He is the consummate professional and very knowledgable about the products your company services.  He has gone the extra mile for me on more than one occasion and has even taught me how best to maintain my windows and doors. He is quick and efficient and I always feel confident that he is giving any job his best effort. He has a positive disposition and a "can do" attitude, even if the job is a challenge for him.  He doesn't waste his time, gets right to work and checks in with me as he progresses through the tasks to be sure that I understand why the job necessitates more time and or what obstacles he has found and usually solves right on the spot or let's me know that we need a part to be ordered, etc. I am fully confident in his abilities and know that one way or the other, the job will be done to my 100% satisfaction.
